The Baglioni Palace

Situated, as it is, along the Lake Trasimeno road, the Braccio Baglioni palace acted as a stopover post for travellers as early as the 15th century.
Today, its welcoming halls with their amazing vaulted ceilings are used to host events and parties or as the restaurant for lunch and dinner. In summer, the restaurant extends into a spacious garden with an old wood-burning oven.

The palace is in the shape of an 'L', and this connects to a conservatory with three glass-fronted arches defining its length and another arch closing off the short side facing the entrance gate, thus creating a kind of internal courtyard with a well.
This courtyard frames the impressive three floors and accentuates the monumental character of the well-preserved entrances by the main gates.
